What should I do if I don't receive a verification email after trying to set up my account, change my email, reset my password, etc?

We've compiled a list of potential issues that cause users to encounter difficulties with the email verification process. Please follow the steps below to see if they help resolve the issue.

  1. Double-check your inbox, especially the spam or junk folder

  2. Double-check that you entered the correct email address

  3. Double-check that you're checking the inbox of the correct email address

  4. If a school email address was used, there's a possibility that the email is being blocked. Try using a personal email address instead.

  5. If you unsubscribed from our emails (you can check here), you will not receive the verification email.

    1. If the subscription preferences under your email account are set to "unsubscribe all" for Schoolhouse, you might still run into issues. You can check and update this by going to any previous email you've received from Schoolhouse, scrolling to the bottom, and selecting the subscription preferences option.

  6. If you created your Schoolhouse account by signing in with your Google account, you will not receive a verification email to reset your password. Try signing in with Google instead.
